Cynthia is an avid traveler who previously spent time living in several European countries, where she eventually met her Danish husband of 27 years. She now resides in the Sunshine State with one daughter, while the other is away at college. Cynthia is known for frequently trying to escape the heat by going to any cold weather destination and will also fly to Europe on a whim, much to the chagrin of her family and the BACH team. She has been the recipient of many industry awards, and she utilizes those wonderful relationships with travel suppliers around the globe to take an ordinary trip idea and turn it into an extraordinary experience for her clients.   

Destinations I can’t get enough of: Italy…because it’s Italy. Scandinavia as a whole because the air is fresh and the people are happy. I love a mountain destination that has great views, with a drink in my hand and live music playing. Africa, with its spectacular wildlife and geography, is a place that stays with you long after you return home. It’s one of the most unique and special travel experiences I’ve ever had. At the end of the day, I’m happiest when traveling anywhere with my family – whose initials make up the name of our company, BACH Travels.

Cynthia Madsen

A seasoned traveler, Kelly enjoys all types of adventure. Whether she’s diving with penguins in the Galapagos, wine tasting in the South of France, or skiing through fresh powder from the summit of Whistler Mountain, she knows that planning with the experts is the best way to get the most out of each precious travel moment. Originally from Miami Shores, Kelly is a graduate of one of the top hospitality programs in the world, Rosen School of Hospitality Management. She now resides with her husband, her son, and their five rescue pets in The City Beautiful — Orlando, Florida.

Destinations I can’t get enough of: The beauty and culture of Hawaii, especially on the Garden Isle of Kauai is why I can never get enough of the Aloha State. You can find me in my happy place sitting in the sun at a beach club in Ibiza – those bohemian vibes, shimmering blue water, and live music. Perfection. I love riding alongside locals on a bike in Amsterdam, finding a random cafe or boutique off the tourist’s beaten path, and then cruising the enchanting canal ring after sundown.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Jessica followed her love of sunshine and now resides in Orlando, Florida. She joined the BACH team as a seasoned traveler and a mother of two little ones. She loves taking advantage of living in one of the most popular vacation destinations by enjoying many staycations with her family throughout the Sunshine State. Jessica applies her skill set as a marathon runner and distance swimmer to the trip planning process, making sure every detail is in order for the team when bringing a client’s vision to life. She enjoys how each request is unique, from honeymoons to wellness retreats, family staycations, to adventure expeditions, and loves adding our personalized touch to our client’s travel memories.

Destinations I can’t get enough of: Anywhere with white, soft sand and clear blue water with a drink in my hand is where I want to be. Grace Bay Beach is definitely one of my favorites. A good morning run with ocean views is my perfect way to start the day. 

Born and raised in New York, Michelle spent 20 years in Florida working in hospitality and the tennis industry. She and her family now call Charleston, South Carolina home where they take full advantage of the amazing cuisine, beautiful beaches, and rich history. Michelle uses her organizational skills to help keep things at BACH running smoothly behind the scenes. 

Destinations I can’t get enough of: I’m a city girl and love exploring the greatest cities in the world. New York City was my home for years, and I love that it’s different every time I return. Rome and Florence because I love history, art, and cheese. Paris and London never disappoint either.

She resides in Orlando with her daughter, her most cherished travel partner, who shares her passion for travel and exploration. Laura is bringing her attention to detail, calm demeanor, and sense of adventure to her role as Team Administrator.

Destinations I can’t get enough of: Bustling cities like Rome, Tokyo, St Petersburg, Vienna and Prague, are all favorites, but I also enjoy visiting Lake Tahoe and small cities around the US.
